Two Tone Kitchen West Chester, PA

A number of our customers over the past few years have chosen to move into the next stage of their life by downsizing their living spaces.  Focus tends to be on ease of livability with open floor plans and all main living functions on a single floor.

This project included increasing the entryways from the kitchen to the dining/living spaces and removing a large peninsula to greatly improve flow through the space with an island.  We removed the existing soffit  and extended the new cabinetry to the ceiling which visually opened up the space and provided extra storage.

The natural cherry island gives a nice two tone space with the slightly antiqued white perimeter cabinetry.  The existing hardwood floors were sanded and refinished natural throughout the entire space.

A built in hutch was designed and installed in a nook in a sitting room off the kitchen.  We tied this into the kitchen cabinetry by using a combination of natural cherry and antiqued white.
